No reservation is required--just show up!
Because student interest in this class greatly exceeds our capacity, enrollment in the class is by application only. All graduate students from any discipline are invited to apply. Our goal is to assemble multidisciplinary teams that will consider all elements of a design (technology, business, and human values). Prior experience in developing countries is not a pre-requisite; we expect to have diverse mix on this and other dimensions.
The application for the 2010 course is available for downloaded here, and is due by Wednesday November 18 at 11:59PM.
The courses are offered as OIT 333 (winter) and OIT 334 (spring) through the Graduate School of Business, and as ME206A (winter) and ME206B (spring) through the Mechanical Engineering department. Classes are 4 units each quarter. Students are required to register for the full two-quarter sequence. Class meetings are currently Monday & Wednesday from 10:00am to 11:45am, with a 7-9pm Thursday evening lab.
