Conservation through Poverty Alleviation International (CPALI) is a non-profit organization that seeks new sources of sustainable income for the chronic poor while ensuring environmental security. CPALI targets subsistence farmers who have been economically displaced by the formation of protected areas or national parks, and works with them to build sustainable social and community networks to create products from three indigenous resources: endemic silk moths, endemic trees, and social capital.
