Miraclefeet is a new non-profit created to help fund treatment of children born with clubfoot in developing countries. Clubfoot is one of the most common birth defects, affecting 1 in 750 live births, or about 200,000 newborns each year. Clubfoot causes one or both feet to turn inwards and downwards making it difficult or painful to walk. Over one million people live with untreated clubfoot, making it one of the leading causes of disability in developing countries. Projects include lowering the cost of treating children and improving brace compliance rates.
