d.feet clubfoot delivers high quality, interactive medical training that prepares rural health care providers to treat children crippled by clubfoot. Clubfoot is a congenital deformity in which a child is born with one or both feet twisted downward and inward, leading to lifelong physical disability, social stigma, and reduced opportunities for education and employment if left untreated. The Ponseti method is an inexpensive and highly effective non-surgical method of treating clubfoot, but the majority of clubfoot in developing countries remains untreated due to lack of widespread practical Ponseti knowledge by local health care providers. Leveraging an online course platform, d.feet clubfoot distributes high quality, easy to understand Ponseti training to rural doctors. Through partnership with national clubfoot organizations including CURE and Miraclefeet, Ponseti Online will train thousands of medical practitioners around the world to eliminate disability caused by clubfoot.
