Of the 4 million infant deaths that happen each year, 99% occur in developing countries. Infant incubators are not prevalent in Nepal because distribution is challenging. Our next-generation infant incubator for developing countries overcomes many of the limitations of current incubators in two ways. First, its small size and light weight make it possible to distribute in areas without a robust infrastructure. Second, it requires minimal resources to operate and maintain.
