Marlo is passionate about sharing her love of designing and creating with others. After studying Product Design and Mechanical Engineering at Stanford followed by a few years working as a Design Engineer in the medical device field, Marlo has been teaching and mentoring students in the Stanford Product Realization Lab for over seven years. The courses that Marlo teaches are focused on design communication, process, and implementation. She is excited to work with the students of Design for Extreme Affordability as they work to develop and practice the tools of physical prototyping in service of their innovative work in the course. Some manufacturing processes that Marlo finds time for outside of Stanford are quilting and baking.
