Sarah Stein Greenberg
Sarah has helped lead the d.school since 2010. She holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BA in History from Oberlin College, and her background includes developing new products and services in a number of emerging markets in Asia and Africa. In addition to co-teaching Design for Extreme Affordability, Sarah has co-taught the d.school’s foundational class Design Thinking Bootcamp, developed a class called Design Thinking for Public Policy Innovators, and launched an experimental program featuring short-format “pop-up”classes. Her work at the d.school has resulted in innovative and radical ideas about the form and nature of college entitled “Stanford 2025.” Her talk on this project at Wired Magazine’s “Wired by Design” conference is available here. Among other creative pursuits she spends her free time scuba diving and taking photographs underwater.
