Happy Hands

Happyhands

Happy Hands is a low-cost collapsible hand washing station. Happy Hands is designed for both teachers and students in Kolkata schools lacking sufficient space and infrastructure. Currently, as these schools cannot feasibly have their own permanent washing station, students are sent to street taps or to their homes to wash their hands during the school day. As such, children are not kept safe or may not come back to the classroom. Further, teachers are unable to teach proper hygiene to first-generation students that are in need of proper education. Happy Hands allows children to practice hand washing at school, reducing barriers to higher quality and quantity of hand washing amongst students.
